Pangaea Finn will be giving this short, 5-minute talk as one of a series of presentations geared toward conservation. Open to the public, free admission.
- 6:00 pm MST, Monday, May 20, 2019 – Athena’s Advanced Academy (https://athenasacademy.com/) – Junior Presenter Seminar Series – Palm Oil: What’s the Issue, and How Can You Help?
This 50 minute online talk, given by Pangaea Finn, will be given through the Athena’s Academy platform as part of the Junior Presenter Seminar Series. Registration will be available soon on the Athena’s website. All profits from the talk will be sent to Orangutan Foundation International.
- 6:00 pm MST, Tuesday, May 21, 2019 – Zoo Boise – Wildlife Conservation Series – Choosing Orangutans Over Oreos: The Palm Oil Issue and How You Can Prevent Rainforest Destruction
This talk, given by Pangaea Finn and located at Zoo Boise, is open to the zoo’s donors and patrons and focuses on the history of The Orangutan Gang and an in-depth survey of orangutans, the palm oil issue, and possible solutions.
- Davidson Young Scholar Summit – Exhibitor Hall – Merchandise Booth
Pangaea Finn will be hosting a merchandise booth at the Davidson Young Scholar Summit this year, selling grocery bags and Mini Orangutan Kits. Open to all Young Scholars and families.
Registration for this 7-12 year old geared summer camp will be put out soon online. Pangaea Finn will be giving a talk at the camp focusing on the palm oil issue and what kids can do to help save the rainforest.
