Recently, the Orangutan Gang made a special trip to the Davidson Young Scholars Summit to educate families about the palm oil issue and raise funds to help rehabilitate an orangutan. Pangaea Finn, founder, gave a brief speech focusing on the collective impact and her work with a partner, the Davidson Young Scholars Ambassador Program, to a small audience at the Ambassador Panel, and then hosted a merchandise booth in the Exhibitor Hall with several other Orangutan Supporters, raising over $100 in donations and sales of grocery bags and mini orangutan kits. By the time the merchandise booth was closing down, many families had been impacted by our outreach and were looking for more ways to help.

Thank you for saving the rainforest today!
